Dan MĂCIUCĂ was born in 1979 and now lives in Cluj-Napoca, Romania. The artist has a strong interest in the transition between construction and deconstruction. He has often interpreted such process between different entities, such as the state of living and its replacement, living and the inhabitable space, the current and past spaces, or between realms governed by different societal rules. He excels at fusing different styles in his works to accentuate his emphasis on the transitional process between human and abstract figures, as well as to express a stimulating visual energy.
