Yi-Chun Lo is a Taipei-born artist. She uses natural media such as banana peels, tobacco, and bagasse to create a wide range of objects and spatial installations that reflect on the history of Taiwanese economic crops in the context of global trade. In addition to exploring the relationship between agriculture and politics, her work also addresses the movement of people and commodities in the globalized world.
