Chaos is the beginning, as well as the end. According to Greek mythology, Chaos was the first thing to exist, and then came the world and beings. As 2018 commences, the world is overflowed with information, national boundaries are blurred, and remains of history blend with the imaginations of future. Nowadays, art works are produced massively with abundant symbols and codes, which are appropriated readily and discarded arbitrarily. At the age seems to be free, people are still manipulated by the invisible strings of various regulations, customs and systems, staging one drama after another involuntarily.

Mind Set Art Center is delighted to present Tang Jo-Hung’s solo exhibition “The Outsider” from 2nd of September to 7th of October 2017.

Mind Set Art Center is delighted to present a group exhibition “Self-Portrait”, from 8th of April to 6th of May 2017, showing works by 13 artists including Victor Balanon, Shiau-Peng Chen, Marlene Dumas, Tracey Emin, Hsiao Chu-Fang, Jhong Jiang-Ze, Ana Maria Micu, Shi Jin-Hua , Shi Jinsong, Juin Shieh, Melati Suryodarmo, Tang Jo-Hung, Charwei Tsai.

Mind Set Art Center has relocated to Heping E. Rd., Taipei early this February. We are delighted to present the Grand Opening Exhibition in the new space “The Road Not Taken” from 12 March to 14 The exhibition title “The Road Not Taken” is cited from the famous poem of the same title written by American poet Robert Lee Frost (1874 – 1963), and also refers to the book Holzwege by German philosopher Marth Heidegger (1889 – 1976). It reflects the rugged, lonely life path of artistic creation that is also full of unknown possibilities, where only one full of adventure, courage, and clear spirit could refine the scenes along the way into plenty fruits. The same could be said for art collecting and promotion.
