Jingzhe

Jingzhe, one of the twenty-four solar terms, marks the first thunder of spring and the awakening of dormant life. As thunder rolls across the sky, what has been hidden beneath the soil begins to stir. It is a season defined by vitality and momentum. The colors of tender green shoots, peach blossoms, and warm sunlight embody this transition, signaling renewal and the start of a new cycle.

On March 7, Mind Set Art Center will host a warm-up event at its new Ruiguang Road space under the theme Jingzhe. The occasion celebrates the gallery’s relocation and the beginning of a new chapter. For this inaugural program, artworks will be presented through a chromatic structure aligned with three spring hues: peach pink, soft green, and light yellow. Each color corresponds to distinct price ranges and levels of rarity, creating a clear yet poetic framework for dialogue and collecting.

The move to a new space represents more than a change of address. It is a seasonal shift, a moment of activation. Jingzhe becomes the gallery’s first thunder in this new phase, inviting collectors and friends to gather, exchange, and welcome the unfolding energy of spring together.
